Vestra Castra

I've popped into Vestra Castra a few times when I'm wandering the Eixample blocks. The street outside has that steady urban rhythm — bakery queues in the morning, delivery vans, people heading to tapas places. Inside, it feels like a small neighborhood living room where conversations take up as much space as the seats. The crowd is mostly local: neighbors, a few students, people who live in the flats above the shops. Evenings are when it loosens up, with folks dropping by after work to hang out rather than make a show of themselves. There's no loud music or flashy signage; it's the kind of place you find when you want to actually talk to someone. If you like low-key spots where the focus is social more than commercial, this fits that bill.
